Encircled Grace offers prayerful, meditative walking, inspirational storytelling, and creative reflection through the use of labyrinths for groups and individuals of all ages.
The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual resource that offers opportunity to invite people into a deeper awareness by quieting the mind, opening the heart, and engaging the body. Walking a labyrinth is a contemplative practice that allows the soul to meet itself and set aside time to listen for the still, small voice.
The mission of Encircled Grace is to provide a safe place for seekers to allow feelings and questions to be explored in nonjudgmental space. We believe in empowering all people to find a healing rhythm by connecting focused labyrinth walking with breath, prayer, and meditation.
Labyrinths are ancient tools that have found modern uses throughout the world and within diverse cultures. They are places that invite mindfulness. Walking a labyrinth provides designated time and space for walkers to seek what they need. Often, people approach the labyrinth when searching for peace, healing, discernment, contemplation, community building, or while grieving.
The labyrinth is not a maze. It offers clarity, not confusion. There are no dead ends. The labyrinth is a single, winding path leading to a center with a return following the same path out. It reflects metaphors as a mirror into one's interior life.
